USZ Clinician's Vision, ETH Collaboration, and USZ Entrepreneur Fellowship Propel aiEndoscopic's Transformation

The creation of aiEndoscopic began with a visionary clinician from the University Hospital of Zürich (USZ) who conceptualized an innovative product. This idea was further developed through a collaboration with ETH Zürich, where our current CTO, Dave Gage, worked on the project as part of his MSc thesis. The project received a significant boost when it gained support from the USZ Entrepreneur Fellowship, which helped transform it into a successful startup.

Driven by a passion to improve patient care, the clinician at USZ recognized the need for advancements in medical technology and sought collaboration with ETH Zürich, known for its innovation and research. Dave Gage's expertise and dedication played a crucial role in shaping the idea into a tangible reality through extensive research and development. The resulting prototype showed great promise in revolutionizing the field of endoscopy.

The pivotal moment came with the support of the USZ Entrepreneur Fellowship, which provided the necessary resources, mentorship, and financial backing for the project's transformation into a thriving startup. This fellowship program acknowledges the potential of healthcare innovation and nurtures the entrepreneurial spirit of clinicians and researchers, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.

Empowered by the USZ Entrepreneur Fellowship, aiEndoscopic accelerated its growth, refining the product, developing a robust business model, and forging crucial partnerships.

Today, aiEndoscopic stands as a testament to the power of collaboration, visionary thinking, and dedication. The journey from the clinician's idea to the collaboration with ETH Zürich and the support of the USZ Entrepreneur Fellowship has been one driven by passion, innovation, and perseverance.

As we continue to grow, we are grateful for the opportunities and support that have propelled us to where we are today. The creation of aiEndoscopic exemplifies the transformative potential when academia, clinical expertise, and entrepreneurship converge. We are committed to driving innovation, improving patient outcomes, and making a lasting impact in the field of healthcare.
